The Fifth Horsemen

No updates in awhile due to work and school.

1. We have no shows for a good 2 months, maybe more. Shirts are doing well, a few weeks away from getting the Halloween shirts. If you want a shirt email us (ancestorshc@gmail.com), we won’t charge shipping and you’ll get a free physical copy of our demo, stickers if we get them in soon enough too.

2. Stickers will be ordered middle of next week hopefully.

3. 3 new songs written, looking promising into a recording session with the amazing Chris Brown sometime after Christmas.

Spaghetti-O time!

2C-I

Played in Des Moines last night to a hand full of kids, one of the best times I’ve had at the Haunted Basement. Got to hang out with some rad people and watched a dude get arrested for chopping wood or some shit.

I will say this about the show though, shitty kids who show up to a show and just “hang out”, that don’t pay or even watch the bands…get the fuck out. No one cares that you are friends with the bass player of the local band or that you want to suck the guitar players dick of the local band…if you are there to see one band AT LEAST catch another set of one of the bands from out of town. I don’t even know the half of it, but I know what it feels like to drive a long distance and then have everyone chill outside. Yelling into the wind, whatever.

New songs being written, you can hear two of them at our shows + a cover. Brush up on your 90’s- Early 00’s heavy rock/rap. Possibly heading into the studio in the end of November to lay down some demo’s for our next recording.

There is a Compilation CD happening I guess? from Error recordings in Il. I’ll get details on that shortly.

Shirts are in. Get one before it’s too late. We’ll have them available in our web store shortly. New shirts by October 31st for sure. Stickers sometime between now and November. Show with Get Rad somewhere in Il. in October? It’s a Saturday, that’s all we know.

while your waiting go jam Nothing To Nothing

misanthropist

thanks for checking this out.

here’s the low down on some of our recent activity.

the past few weeks have been us sitting in zachs basement writting sick new jams to play for you all eventually. Currently have two of them final and one drifting around in our heads to and then this stoner jam we play when everyone is baked, but only half the time. Our first print of 50 shirts go to print either today or tomorrow? and we should have pictures of them tomorrow sometime, I’m pretty excited to see them. Method Ink has been extremly awesome at helping us figure out how to do this and what not, really down to earth and nice about answering all of our stupid questions. So google that name real quick if you want to get shirts made or something. We still have some demos floating around in physical form, look at few posts below and you can see the cover is pretty sick. stickers are getting made the 2nd/3rd week of September, so by The Killer show we should have those all good and ready for sticking! Keep an eye out for those.

We got added to a last minute end of the summer show at The Hub on this coming monday(the 24th). Pretty stoked on that. It’s with Build No System, Whats Stopping You?, Getting Stuff Done, The Acoustic Peace Party + more tba? Hopefully going to get some more on this thing. But it should be a good time.

Mid October or early November we should be heading to illinois to hang with our brothers in Commodity and hopefully playing a show with them, Degraded and Expire, maybe even some more bands. We’ll hopefully spend a day there, hang out, record with Clay, then head back here and maybe play another show. Who knows.
